Welcome to the website of Daventry Active Ltd - an independent company that’s dedicated to improving and delivering sport, fitness and leisure in Daventry and the wider district.
Working closely with our partners including Daventry District Council, Northamptonshire Sport and many other local organisations, Daventry Active aims to improve the affordability and accessibility of sport and leisure services that are available to local people.
The company has firm roots within the sports network of Daventry District and is run by members of the community for the local community to provide the local people with:
- Sports facilities
- Sports clubs
- Fitness groups
- Local events
On June 12, 2010, Daventry Active Ltd became the new operator of Daventry Daventry Leisure Centre and Daventry Sports Park as well as several other leisure facilities in the town that are owned by Daventry District Council.
We will be working in partnership with the Council and other organisations to further improve and enhance these facilities.

Saturday, July 24 @ Daventry Leisure Centre Sunday, July 25 @ Daventry Sports Park No need to book, just turn up on the day and register! 9.30am registration, 10am Start Fun challenges will take place across the weekend so individuals, groups & families can assess their sporting performance. Challenge activities will include athletics, football, indoor rowing and photography Other activities include: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Ceroc, Cinema, Climbing Wall, Fitness Classes, Hockey, Inflatables, Inline Skating, Judo, Line Dancing, Wheelchair Basketball, Kayaking, Mobile Skate Park, Photo Exhibit, Soft Play Area, Street Dance, Squash, Swimming, Wii Olympics
